Cyndi's sketch challeges have definitely got me starting using the brain cells the good Lord gave me. Before doing the challenges, I would do more blog surfing and Splitcoast browsing than I did stamping. I guess since I started I feel like I need to do the next one and in a specific time period so I make myself sit down and do it!! And the best part is, I like the end result.
Here is page one. This again is for the baseball album.

I created the white/navy background with the "Game on" stamp from SU's Sporting set. The "lookalike" tickets were made using the ticket corner punch and the Sporting set. I used the Letterpress, Headline, Bold and Jumbo Outline alpabets for the title.
Wide grosgrain ribbon and narrow stitched navy ribbon create the bottom element from the sketch. The blue wide ribbon matches the Brocade Blue much better IRL.
I really struggled with a title for this page. I wanted it to say something about time to bring in the watch elements and I wanted it to have something to do with him sitting on the sideline, waiting for his turn on the mound. It took longer to find the title than to make the pages. LOL
The circle elements on the side are watch face plates I found at Scrapbook Warehouse in Tennessee.

Here's a close-up of the watch faces. I used a brad inserted from the back for the hands of the watch. Pretty brillant huh?
Here's a link to Cyndi's blog for her challenge sketch.
Heather is playing too. Her blog is "Stamp with Heather".
And last but not least, the person who introduced me to this stamping addiction.
My upline, Beth Fox
